As a budding barrister in my second year of uni I just want to say that your experiences and observations are a big driver for me in my 47th year of life. Your books are a great guide to targeting the issues that need addressing. You are an inspiration and I hope I will get to make a mark on our justice system as you have. Keep up your amazing work!
Totally agree that criminal barristers should not be forced to work weekends or extended hours. I have also said for many years that the problem is the lack of funding, look at the state of the legal system let alone the backlog of cases.
